My name is Scot Conway. I have an attention deficit problem. I have dyslexia, too. Yet, I have a law degree, a Ph.D., and I’ve earned a 9th degree Black Belt in martial arts.I have harnessed ADD as a tool to help me. I use it to help me figure things out. I use it to help me be creative and solve problems. I’d even go farther than “I have harnessed it.” I’d go WAY farther than “I learned to keep it under control.” It would actually say it’s one of my superpowers. In fact, much of what I have done best in my life is as a result of the skills I gained by taking control of my brain. I am a master of martial arts, in part, because my mind makes connections most people do not make. It is something I can do because of what others call a problem. The definition of a problem is “something with a solution.” If there is no solution, it is not a problem, it is a fact of life.ADD is a problem, but it is not merely a problem. It is an opportunity. In the Attention Deficit Solution, I will teach you a series of training exercises to get control of your brain, or your child’s brain. We do this without squashing the benefits inherent in a brain capable of such wanderings. By solving this problem this way, your child will be able to be more than he would have been without the problem!
