The year this book was published was back in 2008. Though this book is dated, I do believe it can be read to or by young kids. The pictures and models present within the book do a decent job portraying what Venus looks like, where is it, and what it is like. I would recommend this book to very young children as a good way to start out their studies in the subject of astronomy.
My 6 year old son recently borrowed this book from his school library.
The book discusses the planet Venus. It gives details about it's size and what the air and land there is like. It tells why people can not live on Venus. Has very colorful photographs to go along with each page. The text and information is easy, but my son needed a little help with some of the words and I had to explain some of the information to him.
