A concise introduction to the theory of fluid mechanics, with a large number of graded, solved problems illustrating a wide variety of applications, is given in this book. Each chapter contains six to ten pages of theory, including equations, charts, and graphs. There are about 30 illustrative examples, with 30 to 40 problems with answers taken from civil, mechanical, and chemical engineering, and 20 unanswered descriptive questions.
