Survey of the architectural styles and histories of Egyptian temples built thousands of years ago. Over 120 photographs and diagrams depict exteriors, interiors of many sacred structures, including the ruins of the Temple of the Sphinx, and the remarkable structures at Karnak; the Temple of Luxor; the great temples at Abu Simbel; more.
Egyptologist and Anthropologist. Known mostly for her theories on the Witch Cult which the witch trials were an attempt to destroy a pre-Christian surviving religion.
A great survey of extant Egyptian temples. It is particularly focused on architectural elements and goes into exhaustive detail in this respect. I was more interested from a historical and cultural perspective, and it does offer insight in this regard, though it is primarily an architectural study.
