Richard Ross, joiner, part-time local football referee, ordinary man, is about to get a shock. It’s time to meet the relatives. But guess what? They’re all dead. Even worse, they are his past lives and all share the same soul - his! With help from his Strange Relations, an angel named Joe, and Roberta (Australopithecus Robustus), Richard has to learn the last lesson of life so all will be allowed to journey towards the Light. Richard is the last of a very long line and everyone’s last chance. One small problem though; Richard is in a coma and time is fast running out.
Hometown - Reading - where I was raised, lived and worked until 1995. I moved to Aberystwyth for two years before moving on to Pembrokeshire where I now live with my wife Nia and adopted cat Peaches (she was already named - I whistle when I want her to come in).
Before chancing my arm in the literary world I held down numerous jobs which included wood-machinest, sawyer, leisure attendant/five-a-side referee ( happy days), football promoter, barman, labourer, market trader, stallholder ( more happy days), to name a few.
Hobbies: reading (obviously), horse riding (but not lately), walking (plenty of walks in Pembs), golf (handicap - yeah all the usual ones), snorkling (badly and only near the beach), watching films(my all time favourite is Starship Trooper - you make your own mind up), and cat training (not really - but did you know that if you cover your newspaper in cat food and call fetch they lick it off).
I also tried my hand at Tarot reading (seriously now) - which I did for free - but found I was quite good at it, which was scary, so I stopped.

And that my friends - as they say in the afterlife - is that.
Once again, not my thing. I wanted to give it one star but I can't. There is so much drivel out there that really deserved one star. This isn't an abomination- it's just not very good. The dialogue made me cringe. But if you're less picky than me about things like that, you may enjoy.
What would you do if you found you are the last in a long line of reincarnations, and are the only hope your shared soul has of gaining Enlightenment? An interesting situation, you'd think. Unfortunately this book is not - interesting that is. Jakubowski doesn't seem able to decide whether to write this book around comedy, religion, supernatural, or moral themes. Too many things are kept secret for far too long and the denouement is a fizzle. Although this is the first in the series, I am not sure I have the patience to try another. The only savings grace seems to be that the author has a nice set of dimples (or at least, so my mother says!)
