Bob Hobbs is the fantasy artist behind the CDC's Zombie Pandemic graphic novella which went viral on the internet in October 2011-2012.
Bob began his art career after graduating from the University of Hawaii in 1983 with a degree in commercial art. However, Bob had been creating artwork commercially for years before attending art school.
His work has been exhibited in such places as the Park Avenue Atrium in New York City, The U.S. Naval War College Museum, The Rhode Island School of Design Museum and the U.S. House of Representatives to name a few.
He's illustrated the works of authors M.D. Benoit, Ursula K. LeGuin, Larry Niven, Finlay Cowan, Kay Plumb, Tony Jurgens and over 100 more. He has collaborated with the likes of artists Christopher Shy, Julianna Kolakis, RK Post, Anthony Waters and the late Jeffrey Jones to name a few.
A ok book if you want to dive in doing a bit more fantasy drawings, special witches, symbols and tools, some landscapes. Some good advises how to...I will give it a 3.
My daughter has referred to this for several school art projects and found it to be really useful. Well put together for amateur artists with plenty of inspiring ideas and tips.
