Total bias in the rating. I played the most during BC and I had the most fun during BC.
I was so happy to rock that Merciless Gladiator’s Regalia.
That’s right. Hardcore mage. I was flipping through every spec - fire, frost and arcane. Arcane finally saw its days. That is until a ret pally came and showed me how cool and OP Divine Storm was.
The amount of information in here is really cool. You get a glimpse of design philosophy just by seeing the numbers set so plainly. I’m the guy who always looks at talent trees trying to find something new, viable and potent. I don’t imagine how useful this guidebook was. Seeing as it’s a computer game most people were checking online guides, especially since the game changes patch to patch. This is still awesome. I get a nostalgia boost every time I open a random page.
I loved guidebooks and the little pamphlets nestled into the CD cases that served as game guides. Artifacts of a bygone age.
This strategy guide was a gift from a friend who played the game with me at the time. You see there aren't many people who would give you such a gift... So that was cool in every way.
The guide... Yeah it was in depth and it contained very much details regarding all the races, their history etc etc. In the beginning it was relevant and some strategies actually worked. In time the strategy slowly became obsolete, due to the fact that the game evolved, some feedback was received from the users, and thus the information contained in this book was irrelevant.
Anyways a nice book for starters, for those who haven't heard or played Warcraft before, for those who are inexperienced in MMORPG, simply for the noobs.
