He's been big, bad, bratty, beefy, bouncy, beastly, brilliant (not to mention boastful, brazen, boisterous, brash, and downright bamboozling), but when it comes down to it—Bart Simpson is the Son of Homer! Join the chip off the ol' block in several new adventures as he makes Springfield safe from criminals; starts his own radio talk show; goes on a one man campaign against the new reading craze in Springfield; takes a one-way train trip to disaster; wins a shopping spree at Krusty's toy store; and much, much more.

Most volumes of Simpson comics are pretty similar, which is both a negative and a positive. Negative because you end up with similar stories, but positive because the stories are good overall.

The art always closely resembles the animation from the TV show, so it's hard not to like the art if you enjoy the animation.

Overall, if you enjoy the Simpsons TV Show, you'll enjoy the comics. The comics are basically the show on a printed page. If you are a fan of the show but haven't read the comics, you should pick a volume up.

The writer is teaching us different types of scenarios homer Simpsons and his family has that makes it very entertaining for younger people to read because its full of comedy and mysteries and also filled with easy to read paragraphs and easy to read diagrams/drawings of the event that's happening. In my opinion, this graphic novel was to easy to read cause it only took me 3 - 5 days to complete reading, but then this book was also a blast to read, didn't have a lot of information to share, because it had different types of stories in one book.

I gave this book a 3-star rating because I liked the color and the action, but in some places the story was not clear and did not get the point across. I am not a big fan of graphic novels, but this book was fun to read.

Another funny comic book from The Simpsons! I particularly like Maggie Simpson in Baby Got Back (at Burns), Maggie being so cute and unexpected again :)

Every time I choose a shelf for The Simpsons, I hesitate to put it with the kids stuff. It is, for obvious reasons, appealing to kids, but there're so many things that would be beyond their comprehension.
This book, however, is really mostly for kids. It's all stories about Bart and his misdemeanors (does he do anything else?), and it's sheer mischief and fun that kids will love, but hopefully won't imitate.
As always, the thing I love most about the Simpsons books is the fact that even on paper the images are far from static. In fact, they burst with action and excitement.

I don't really buy these Bart Simpsons trades for the stories, I really enjoy looking at the artwork and to see who's drawing the characters. There are some illustrators that draw the simpsons perfectly and then there are others who draw extreemly well but something is just off about the characters.
