The amazing true story of a woman's journey to cycle the brand new Pan American highway. Well, it's more mud and tarantulas than tarmac and cafes.
I loved her first hand account, from the difficulties of paperwork to the details of carrying her bike and panniers for miles of mud.

I recently read this amazing book after finding it in a secondhand shop in Germany and was totally moved by it. This woman is unbelievable! Really really a great story!

Wonderful light read. Extremely interesting insight to the snapshot in time of the Amazon and it’s people. I’m going to have a look and see how the environment has changed in today’s landscape.
