Feral Domination
Gionne is alpha male of the Valde wolf pack. He wants Jenna, a feline shapeshifter, as his mate but the fates are manipulated to separate them before the two breeds can join.
Two years later, the felines need a favor and Gionne will help for a price — Jenna. Gionne holds Jenna as collateral for the debt. Holding an unmated female that comes into heat within the pack proves dangerous. He takes her innocence, claiming her as his mate to protect her.
Jenna gave her heart to Gionne only to have it broken. Now she must accept Gionne's terms in order to save her pack. Seeing the wolf stirs all the old feelings but Jenna refuses to submit to the alpha until he uses dominant persuasion. Just as Jenna begins to accept her feral mate, a pack member plots to get rid of her.

Young love true to its form... especially for a young feline girl that fell in love with a wolf. The wolf pure blood and he felt the same way, until his got sick. Then so much changed... a young girl left heartbroken and wolf left howling in dispair.
A few years later they are both a bit older and wiser, and for Gionne comes a chance to have his little feline. For Jenna... did she still love Gionne, has he changed? she doesnt care not one wit if he has a mate.. right?? well if he thinks to boss her around he has another think coming, she literly purrs at that thought.
Ive had this book a while in my stash(august 2013... and very glad I ran across it, I loved it. The story just flowed and loved the characters especially Razi, Gionne's half sister (I bet she will have her own story) a bit of mystery a dab of danger, and some scenes that set the sheets a fire. Have fun I did enjoy!

Typically when I see something published by Ellora's Cave I jump on it; their writers are normally 'safe bets' and really - if it's free, what does it hurt to try out a new author?
Um, famous last words.
In the overall scheme of things, the storyline was very good & deserves about a 4.5 star rating. Gionne and Jenna are childhood playmates that become sweethearts with plans to mate - even though he is lupine and she is feline. (In other words - they want to see if cats & dogs CAN play well together...) Due to his father's illness, Gionne pushes Jenna away and she is NOT understanding of this and turns her back on him. Fast forward a few years and she is asked to be a "guest" at Gionne's compound while the lupines grant the felines some much needed land to hunt on. This story has REALLY REALLY HOT sex scenes - menage & anal are some, so you are warned! - and lots of miscommunication due to some betrayals by one of the pack members.
What this story doesn't have? Descriptive communication. At times I felt like I was reading stilted, Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator style dialogue. It was driving me nuts. (NOT - "It was driving me nuts!", she exclaimed emphatically.) Like I said, though, this is the first of the series (published in 2009) and is over 300 pages. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that as the author got into the series, the dialogue flowed a bit more easily.
Hey - it's a free trial right now. Doesn't hurt to try, right? And if you really like shifter romances - this could be the start of one of your favorite series! YAY!

As my first shapeshifter I really enjoyed this read.
The sex scenes where hot, the writing was smooth and easy to follow.
My favourite part is at her first dinner within the wolf pack.

An OK read, bit heavy on the sex (never thought I´d say that) and I got a vibe of teenage drama (sorry!) with the "he said" "she said" and "come, let me lend you some clothes, awesome!"

This book was ok but to be honest for me there was too much sex in relation to the story. I like sex and kink but it has to fit in with the story and this I felt was sex heavy.

Feral Domination had some good, hot love scenes, I'll give it that. And really, that's the only reason it got a 3-star rating from me. The complete unrealistic-ness is what did it in for me. Um, Really?!
Also, the one antagonist of the story was revealed in a wham-bam fashion, where when found out he basically spilled his guts and the whole thing was over instantly.
If you're looking for a hot read, this may do it for you. If you're looking for a good PNR, you'll probably be disappointed.

I was actually looking forward a little to reading this one but was definitely disappointed. It started out really good, but the more I read the less I wanted to. I ended making myself finish, to see if it got better...didn't really work out for me. The story line was good, but I didn't like the content that well. I pretty much gave up on trying to like the characters and I couldn't connect or immerse myself in this one. I didn't like the the way things were handled or the 'goings on' that were part of the customs. It was kinda like fingernails on my moral/personal chalkboard, and I ended up cringing (and not in a good way) and skipping a few 'scenes'. I think things were taken to a whole different level that I couldn't get into because...I just can't! Anyhow, best of luck to those who like...but no thanks. Sorry no can do here. Good Luck!

Enjoyable and definitely sexy. However, Jenna's switch from a woman who wanted nothing to do with Gio after he "left" her to someone who willingly let him push all her boundaries aside wasn't one I was 100% behind. I did enjoy her submission to Gio (and the tough time she had wrapping her head around how much she enjoyed being dominated by him) but I personally wish it could have been drawn out a bit more.
Still, I enjoyed it and the sex was HAWT. So, there you go.

This book was: hot, but not as hot as I would've like it to be.
The plot was: great, just needed a little polish.
The beginning was: frustrating.
The middle was: really good.
The crescendo was: great.
The finish/ending was: alright.
The characters were: a bit plain, but not static.
The worldbuilding was: precisely how I want it to be. Not too much, but not to little interference either.
The language was: good.
The themes represented in the book were: quite classic, when you think about it.
Would I recommend this book? Yes/no? Why/why not? That depends on whom I'm supposed to recommend it to.

As much as I want to say I did not enjoy it so much, I would be lying if I did.. I loved it BUT I do wish it had more.. Depth? To it.. I was disappointed by just how quickly Jenna submitted and wish that had been drawn out a little longer. The overall story line could have done with more info and detail too.. But again I loved it and it only took a few hours.. New on to the second!! :)

I liked it enough to finish it, but had some problems with some of the language choices (like "torrid", "rammed", and "slurped" in places that seemed inappropriate). Some of the intimate scenes lacked a level of consent I'd have liked to see, and there wasn't strong enough world building for me to be okay with that being okay in that world.

Great story of how two species not only co-exist in the same region but how love can triumph even with murder and betrayal rearing its ugly head. I probably would of enjoyed this story more if the sex scenes had of been shorter and fewer.( thats my opinion only )

I was liking it at first but it started to skim the story and not go in as much depth that I wanted it to go. It was hot with alpha-male and domination which I loved.
