To Be Human: What does it mean to be a human being?
The content of this book was originally a series of sermons presented in 2021 by Brent Kimball, Lead Pastor of Citipoint Church in Mount Vernon, WA.
The preaching series was born out of a deep concern for the church to understand, from a biblical framework, what it means to be a human being. The approach was to work from the beginning of creation and see God’s intentions and from there to articulate the biblical model for humanity in some key subjects. Throughout the series relevant and disputed cultural issues were addressed with the hope of helping the church understand those issues from a biblical perspective.

Great content, well researched and well structured.
I understand it’s based on a sermon series but it felt like just reading the outline of a series. Wish it elaborated on almost every point. If it was 3x longer and went a little longer on each section I think it would have been better. Was only 90 pages and with the weigh of the topics I feel it could have been longer.
But for a quick read that packs a punch it’s great. Don’t 100% agree with everything in here but maybe with more context some of the points could be better presented. it’s still really really solid.
