The top-100 Kindle bestselling series is now complete and available in this special eBook collection. This box set contains books 5 - 7 of the Magical Creatures Academy.I come from a long and powerful line of supernaturals, but I’ve never shown any abilities whatsoever.
So when the prestigious Magical Creatures Academy invites me to attend, I’m more than a little hesitant. From shifters to vampires and even fae, everyone flaunts their impressive abilities … everyone but me.
I’m so frustrated I’m about ready to give up, when the super handsome and totally-off-limits prince of the elves decides to show me some extra attention.
He’s not the only one who has his sights set on me though. A dangerous rebel faction is closing in on the school, and they don’t think I’m a dud either. Instead, they believe I’m hiding a rare and coveted form of magic, one they could use to turn me into the ultimate weapon.
I just wanted to find a place to belong, but now my very existence could threaten everyone I’ve ever known or loved. No pressure, right?
Lucía Ashta believes in magic, laughter, and happily-ever-afters. She loves writing fierce heroines who wield witty comebacks as adeptly as their swords, and the warriors who slay their enemies alongside them. The camaraderie of found family, kooky magical creatures, and dragons—lots of dragons—also enrich Lucía’s many stories. She lives with her family in the forest nestled in the mountains, where she dreams up fantastical worlds and hopes to someday journey to them.
I read all 7 books in this series and enjoyed every word. Between the beautiful girls and the gorgeous boys there were teachers, bad girls, bad guys, adventures, trouble, pending war, and the cutest little creatures. This was an awesome series but its not over yet. There are more books to read about certain students. So read this series first and then I'm off to read more about certain characters that I feel like friends.
I gave the first 4 books a 5 because I loved the featured characters. There are lots of great characters that are in all 7 books and a couple of fun new characters in books 5-7. But my biggest problem with books 5-7 is that I dislike the featured character. I didn’t like her in the first 4 books and she didn’t get any better in next books. But if you want to wrap up the storyline from the first 4 books then you have to read on. Don’t get me wrong. There are some great new characters. There are some interesting storylines, but there is also one part of the book that moves way too slow. I especially liked the group of friends from the first books as they carry on throughout the next. Despite not liking the featured character I still highly recommend this set of books.
I Love the fact that Lucia doesn’t stall out at the end. I have noticed a lot of authors do that, and they grasp for a few straws and then it’s like “and they lived happily ever after. The End.” Lucia weaves the characters tale, intertwining it with others and leaving enough space for both characters to grow, and it’s pretty awesome to see where things lead.
Lucia l really don’t know what to say except OMG phenomenal l am hoping this collection continues. The characters are well defined and each of them stand out, the story lines are well thought out l have to say Why and Val make me laugh their descriptions make me smile. I can’t wait for more.
This is the second set of these books, that I have whizzed through. They are really enjoyable and you feel that you know the characters, they are so well written and have been given different but really great personalities and abilities, so far I have to say Jas is my favourite, with Sadie and the Rabbit Mafia coming close behind. Oh by the way where can I get a Why? The adorable Pandacorn has stolen my heart
Jasmine Jolly is growing up and really wants a relationship with Ky. The only problem is getting kidnapped repeatedly is getting in the way of her snagging him. It’s fun seeing her become more than a selfish rather nasty skunk to a young woman with multiple besties.
Had to get all 7 books and read straight through. Well written and very much worth the reading!!! Lucia Ashta has a knack for capturing your attention and keeping it.
