Breezes through most of the plot points of the movie, touching on what happened but not really going in depth into anything. Almost like watching the movie on fast forward!
Lil J is nuts about Toy Story and after the Pixar exhibit we thought it a good chance to pick up the second Toy Story Golden Book. Like the first it’s a quick read and simplifies the story, but it’s quite good for a 2yo. Golden books are usually well written compared to a lot of cheap kids books, so these are a great chance for J to follow his favorite series in simple English (bi-lingual household).
This book was a condensed version of ‘Toy Story 2’. It leaves out a lot of the story, but hits the major plot points.
Both of my kids love Toy Story, so they enjoyed this book. This story would be a great edition to have for kiddos that love Toy Story, but definitely show your kids the movie version first, so they can get the whole story.
My son is really into Toy Story right now so we checked this out at the library. Little Golden Books are such a classic and this kept his attention. It’s a sped-up version of the movie but highlights the main points. Illustrations are cute too!
