Reily Garrett – The Guardians Bk 6 – Shadowed Visions
Rescue in the Everglades, the unbelievable ending!
Finally, I am trying to catch up on writing reviews for all the new books released after my world fell apart late last year. First, I broke my wrist, then caught COVID, and the final assault on my weakened immune system has been the severe winter cold; now, all this crap just messed with my reading and review writing time. Ok, on to the sixth book of this unusual and titillating series, The Guardians. It could be said that each book could be read as a stand-alone, but why would you do that? It would only make you miss out on getting updates for the characters or the new battles while the Guardians and their friends try to save the world. By now, we’ve figured out we’re under its spell, and waiting for the next book is hard as heck!
We start with a new crisis: young people missing somewhere in the Everglades and presumed kidnapped by the League of Assassins or one of their minions. The patterns we have learned in the previous books are that they take the gifted parents' children to be tested and pressed into service for the League. We also know that the parents, in most cases, end up being killed. Of course, don’t forget Roth has his hands in this mixup. Then we are introduced to a new group of Shifters that help to confuse Silvers world. All this leads to breathtaking interaction with the League and some significant surprises as we finish this book.
What did I like? OMG, where do I start? The new characters, the new romance, the new interactions, the new battles, or what? Every book from this gifted author leads to exciting and fantastic reads. Characters that will remain on your list of favorites, storylines that capture your heart and give you that rush you get when things go wrong. All this from just over two hundred pages of excitement, humor, romance, battles, and characters!
What will you like? The opportunity to add another excellent book to your library and enjoy hours of exciting and heart-rendering storylines. Ms. Garrett is one of the top writers in her genre, but she never lets the sun sit on just one; she crosses over into others just as easily and swiftly. Characters that move into your heart, fast-moving action, a storyline as ramped up as a dog with a tick. Get ready to enjoy yourself with this fast-moving, action-packed read.

Well, when I first started this series it was – relatively – simple, with a select cast of characters. Now, well, the story gets ever more complex, bringing in so many different groups. I'll be honest, I had to mentally backtrack several times to recall who was who and how they all fit together!
I've always liked Dacien, so was glad he took a good role in this book. I don't feel quite so connected with the newer characters like Silver, but that's because I've known the others through so many books now. Its interesting that she's a shifter, and of course that brings in even more talents and abilities. Then meeting a whole group and their leader....Gabe...yep, enjoyed “meeting” him ;-) Characters do start to feel real to me when I get lost in a good book.
Its another race through dangers and adventure, a story that takes a myriad of twists and turns, and where there's a subtle romance, one that fits the story, not dominates it. The Big Bad Roth has grown, and he's out for yet more blood. He really is a deranged psychopath. I love a good evil character in a story! Makes for so much interest.
I think this series is reaching its climax, and hopefully all will be revealed and the bad guys shut down, but with Reily we never know just how she's going make things play out. Expect the unexpected ;-)
Its been a great series so far and I really want to see just how it all ends. I think if I do a back to back read, as I like to with series, I'd get less confused about the characters and how they connect. When its been a while and lots of other books its easy to forget small essentials, and who lesser known characters connect.
Stars: Four, another gripping read, and left me wondering how on earth Reily is going to resolve this.

~First, I’ll state that I received this book as a gift from the author to read and review.
~This is the book six in The Guardians series. The series continues with a fairly fast paced story line.
~A number of new characters were introduced in this book…though, most were satellite characters. The backstory of some other characters was filled in. Romantic interests were allowed to develop. Family grew…both biological and that of the overall unit. There was some revelation about the ultimate ‘bad guy’…a bit more of the who and why.
~There was action, though not the massive battles that have been presented in some of the other books.
~This book was good…it reminded me of the chorus between two verses of a song. The song verses tell the main parts of the story and the chorus ties them together. This story, “Shadowed Visions” will tie together “Shadowed Intent” and the final book in the series, “Shadowed Deliverance.”
~Definitely worth reading…it is an integral part of this series.

Most importantly this is very much a series book which means it is important to have read the previous titles to really enjoy this instalment. But in saying that it is such a fantastic series and really improves with each new book in the series.
Shadowed Visions has such great characters and yes with each book this wonderful "family" only gets better and more interesting. Literally there is so much action, mystery, romance and complexity that keeps readers wanting to learn more with each new page in this incredibly well devised plot in a truly creative supernatural world of physics and shifters but within a realistic way. So looking forward to seeing how this series will wrap up but also know I will be sad to say good bye to these entertaining characters.

Each has their own strengths and their own methods, but they are facing an enemy so much stronger than themselves. Can they find enough trust to work together? If not, they are not going to make it very far.
This is book six of the series, but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required to enjoy this one.
This is an urban fantasy story with a bit of the paranormal woven in. The story is well written, easy to read and starts off with a bang. Not literally, but it does grab hold of you right away and never lets go. The characters are well done with a firm sense of being that brings the story to life. Overall, this was a fast paced story and I really enjoyed this addition to the series. I can't wait to see where it goes next.

This book was non stop action and twists and turns as a group of teens are abducted and need to be rescued. A new group formed of shifters is found nearby and Silver the final Channon sibling is torn between her shifter nature and the feelings in her soul for a non shifter. A fast paced action packed book that is always unpredictable and interspersed with dreams/visions, humour, loyalty, betrayal, pure evil, hard choices, love and romance. Impossible to put down. I cannot wait for the conclusion to this epic series.

Another fun book by Reily Garrett. Although Gary's panther pack certainly played a major part in this story, I greatly enjoyed watching Silver and Dacien as their relationship developed. They had such touching moments together and it just made me that much more eager to see where they might end up. Between the romance, action and adventure, this book turned into another page turner and a great addition to the Guardians series.

Dreams played an integral part in this story. The psychics ran across a pack of shifters leading Silver Channon to make a difficult decision. Stay with the family she was reunited with or follow her shifter side. What decision does she make? A story full of suspense, betrayal, villains, and a little romance. All the characters play essential roles in conquering the bad guys. I love this series and will be sad to see it conclude in the next book. I received a copy, and I'm voluntarily giving my honest review.

I am not generally a fan of shifter stories but Gabe and his panther group are special and with them alongside perhaps the psychics can finally get rid of Roth. There are some really sweet scenes with Silver and Dacien and their relationship was so up and down the reader was never sure who Silver would pick. There is a palpable feeling of anticipation growing throughout the story and then there is a surprise at the end that adds another dimension. I can’t wait for the final book.

Another great book to the series! The author brings strong characters and weaves an intriguing and entertaining storyline. She does a fantastic job pulling you in and kept me glued to the pages with all the twists and turns and action. Add in the humor and romance and she delivers a terrific read. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and I loved reading.

A great haunting read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.

As Sparky and Panther's relationship grows she begins to lose some of her insecurities with Dacien's help.
Being a wild and mouthy teen Casper takes it to another level with her abilities. She is so entertaining!
Roth is bbaacckk!
Gabe's panther pack unite with Nicholi's team to take down Roth.
Action packed drama, mystery, suspense, betrayal and romance will keep you glued to the pages!

This is the sixth book in the series and it can be read as a standalone but for best enjoyment I recommend reading the entire series. Silver is a shifter and not afraid of a fight and she wants to help those with psychic abilities being imprisoned. Can she and Dacien work together? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and twists and turns. Great characters and an entertaining story. I liked it.

This book was amazing, I have never read anything from this author and I am sure glad I started with this one. It was action packed, suspenseful, mysterious, danger lurking around the corner and a mission to save the missing teens before they are gone forever. I definitely recommend this book it is a must read.

What a trip Florida was - lots of action and new alliances gained. I am on the edge of my seat for their journey to find Roth. I cannot wait for the next book - the end of this book was quite the cliffhanger. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The team keeps growing, but finally all the siblings are united with their soul-mates. Other members are added to the team, and they're worthy. The end of the great mystery is coming with a final battle in the next book and I can't wait!

Great Book
Just finished book 6. Onto book 7. To be honest I think that the author could have written all 7 books into a trilogy. But it was not her way. I look forward to the final book.

What a book. Non stop action, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you intrigued. Impossible to not get involved with the characters and keep wondering how they will get out of their situation. Perhaps even some romance.

This has been a fantastic series. A lot more action in this episode as things start to ramp up. Kept me fully engaged until past my bedtime as I felt compelled to finish it in one sitting. Loving this series as the allies keep coming and the enemy are gradually being picked off.
