But when she meets Gilles Richard — the head gardener at Moondreams House, the large local estate — Angela’s heart is once again thrown into turmoil.
Torn between her loyalty to her deceased husband and her growing attraction to the kindly gardener, she is unsure whether she is ready to pursue a new relationship. And as she and Gilles become closer, she cannot shake the feeling that he has something to hide.
As long-buried secrets begin to unravel and family conflicts come to a head, Angela’s anxiety over the future increases. And with her painful past still weighing her down, she must decide whether she is finally ready to follow her heart…
Can Angela find a way to move forward? Will she and Gilles act on their feelings?
Or will their unresolved traumas keep them apart…?
FINDING HAPPINESS is a heart-warming story of one woman’s journey towards healing, self-acceptance and new love. It is the third book in the Moondreams House Romance series.
THE MOONDREAMS HOUSE ROMANCE SERIES: BOOK 1: Rhythms of the Heart BOOK 2: Lost and Found BOOK 3: Finding Happiness
I received a free copy of, Finding happiness, by Ros Rendle, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Angela is starting over in Waterthorpe, after the death of her husband. Along with Angela is her 2 daughters 25 year old Debs, and 16 year old Grace. When Angela meets someone new, Gilles, the handsome head gardener, of a local estate, sparks start to fly. Can Angela move on with a new man after the death of her beloved husband? An enjoyable read, a great beach read actually.
I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Sapere Books and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

My Opinion
This is the third book in the series but the first I have read by Ros Rendle. Rendle has written a nice story with some great characters. At just over 200 pages this is a nice, quick read and easy to finish in a couple of hours.
I absolutely loved this beautifully told story of a widow and her two daughters rebuilding their lives after a tragic loss. While the past remains steeped in secrets, the present is crowded with the ups and downs of making a new life, uncertain relationships, hard choices and decisions and the faint glimmer of romance on the horizon. Perfectly paced, it's a charming read that really touches the heart. Highly recommended.
Angela is embarking on a fresh start in Waterthorpe following the passing of her husband, accompanied by her two daughters: 25-year-old Debs and 16-year-old Grace. The loss of her husband has left her with numerous unanswered questions, as he is no longer there to provide answers. When Angela encounters Gilles, the charming head gardener of a local estate, there is an undeniable chemistry between them. However, Angela hesitates to fully embrace a new relationship, uncertain if she is ready. Additionally, Gilles appears to be concealing something. This book explores the theme of starting anew after the loss of a loved one and the possibility of finding love once again. Personally, I found it to be a delightful read overall.

I’d read the first in this series and been very disappointed. In contrast, this one is a fabulous read - warm, credible, emotional and with lovely characters who I could really engage with.
So pleased I also read this one as I’ll now search out the author’s other books!
