A TIMELESS FALCON DUAL TIMELINE VOLUME The Ring of Fate
Follow Beth back into Tudor England. Perfect for fans of Dan Brown, Philippa Gregory, Kate Mosse, and Tom Harper.
Can Beth undo the mistakes she made in the past…?
University student Beth Wickers found her life turned upside down when a gold cypher ring given to her by Professor Marshall, which opened up a portal to Tudor England.
Enchanted by the Boleyn family, Beth only returned to the present day when life at Henry VIII’s court started to take a darker turn.
She has just resigned herself to leaving her adventures firmly in the past, when she gets a nasty shock.
It seems her time-slipping has had a disastrous affect. Anne Boleyn has been wiped from history and somehow it looks like Beth may have taken her place.
Terrified that his favourite student may have changed English history forever, Professor Marshall convinces Beth to return to Anne, with the clear objective to fix her mess.
Beth must make sure that Anne is the one to marry Henry VIII, but can she stop Henry VIII falling for her instead? Her captivating good-looks, twenty-first century manners, perfect skin, and beautiful green eyes, have also fascinated other courtiers, including Anne's brother, George Boleyn.
Has Beth got what it takes to restore order to the past and return to the present unscathed…?
The only way to find out is to return to Tudor England once more.

I enjoyed the first book but this one just became repetitive. How many times do you need to tell the reader the time is different in modern day to Tudor time. Repeated again and again. The constant giggling and chuckling irritated me too so done with this series.
Phillipa Vincent-Connolly transports us back into the times of the Tudors and immerses you so completely, you feel as though you’re time travelling with our protagonist, Beth Wickers. I absolutely love the concept of this book and completely fell for it in the first book, The Anne Boleyn Cipher.
They’re just so easy to read and get stuck into and I so enjoyed the dual aspect timeline of alternating between mainly Tudor times and her current era. Popping back to check in on her family and grab a cup of tea every now and again was great, before throwing herself back into the Tudor court and as companion to the Anne Boleyn we’ve been coming to get to know over several books.
It was great to see Beth continue to raise her standing and position in this era and gently nudging Anne on her way to be queen. We see her slowly gain more favour from the king, a whirlwind romance and life changing events around religion, politics and history in the making.
I so love the authors spin and take on this era and you can really tell how much research and love has gone into it. By her own admission she states it is a work of fiction and explains the liberties she has taken with her characters and justifies why she has portrayed them in the ways of her books. I loved that and getting to know these historical characters in this way made for such compelling reading.
My only caveat is the authors propensity to write ‘chuckles’ and ‘giggles’ with a fair amount of repetition but am willing to overlook because I love the book so much! Can’t wait to venture through the portal onto the next book. It promises to be a fab follow up.
What a fabulous crossover of fact and fiction told in such a cleverly constructed way. I'm hooked and loving this series. I'm about to dive into book three and can't wait for volume four, thank you for such good books :-)
A series of books that just need to be read. If you have a love of the Tudor era these are a must read. It is so easy to lose yourself and be swept onwards with every page.
Just loved these books. Totally unrealistic but what a wonderful thought. Tutor time travel. I couldn't put the books down and didn't want them to end 😪
