Not Love..
Before I discuss the book, I will say the male character on the cover is handsome and accurately described in the story.
On to the book... This book has left me confused, and disappointed.
The only black male in the book is described as scary and scarred, while everyone else is given an attractive appearance.
There isn't a romance, that I read, between the two main characters. Although the FMC, Emma is physically attracted to the ML Alessandro.. she never displays romantic feelings for him.
Her running and then becoming antagonistic, until "sexually calmed" by him made the story lack cohesion.
The the first few chapters were interesting and then the entire story became sex, sex, and more sex. Oh, with some time progression that left dozens of questions unanswered in between. No character or relationship development.
I'll try another book from this author with hopes, that the issues with this story were a fluke.
However, I cannot in good faith, recommend this book.

Emma and Alex were🔥🔥🔥
Alex expected his debt to be paid, he didn’t expect to fall for Emma😍 in such a short time and the fact she ran away from him is not something he was used to. Gotta give it up to Emma for walking away knowing the type of man he was😬. Their attraction was strong as their eyes met and the chemistry was undeniable from their first touch and the way they enjoyed each other was something else😈🥵🔥. I don’t know how they went weeks away from each other knowing how affected they both were from their one night together and happy for their HEA❤️
This was steamy and naughty holiday novella by the queen of the short stories. Loved to have gotten a short introduction of Michele DeLuca and can’t wait to read that book when it comes out. If you love a strong alpha claiming his love this is a great short book I recommend😊.

I knew before even reading this book that author Imani Jay was not only going to bring the receipts, but she was going to set these pages on 🔥🔥🔥 And that is EXACTLY what she did with Alex and Emma's love journey. From page 1 the chemistry between Alex and Emma was so intense. It was so strong, that when they came together despite the reasons that led to their introduction there was an instant powerful unbreakable connection. No spoilers. Everything about this book was sooo amazing. It was steamy, naughty, sensual, sexy, humorous and definitely worth reading. And the introduction of Michele DeLuca.....alright Imani Jay. I can't wait to read THAT boo book!! "Owned for Christmas" was an awesome story and I highly recommend it.

Emma, you lucky lucky girl! 4.5 stars!
This book was one heck of a ride. From meeting Alex in a gambling establishment to a night they will never forget this boom was all heat. As usual Imani tells a great story with incredible spice. I took half a star because of a few typos and missing words and because there were a few lines of dialogue during a love scene that just took me out of the moment. I just couldn't take them seriously for a second but, true to character, Alex pulled me right back in. Great read, 4.5 Stars!!

Damn!!!!
I have been waiting on this story! It got worse after reading the first two chapters on the email. The only dislike I have is the wait between books. I
found and read one of the books, then read EVERYBOOK in her backlog. Alex is the chef's kiss. Best book boyfriend by a long margin. The chemistry between the two characters is FIRE. Like if you saw it in person, you might get pregnant. Get the book NOW.

It didn’t take Romano long to decide that Emma was his woman … The minute Emma Omis eyes landed on Romano, which she identified as dark angel she wasn’t the same, … They agreed on one night that he called a “sleep over”, Emma couldn’t help but laughed at that, I even smiled at that. Anyway, one taste could never be enough… She was his & she better accepted it !

Emma captured Alex and didn't know it
The absolute claiming that occurred made me thing Alex was a wolf finding his true mate. He certainly was an alpha and Emma had no chance at a getaway with the scorching heat between them why would she want to? He turned the world around for her and wasn't just an alpha but a real man worthy of her devotion. Loved seeing Emma on the cover.

Amazingly EROTIC!
I'm A huge fan of Imani! She never Ever disappoint with her characters! The amount of heat between Emma and Alex was so erotic and hot! If you haven't read any of her shorts...you are missing out on a slew of great reads! Whew this book was amazingly erotic! Thanks for the story diva!

I love how Emma went with her boyfriend (Jimmy Bennett) to a gambling place . She knew she was going to break-up with him but watched him make a fool of himself losing big to Alex Romano. Emma had saw Alex and wondered what it would be like with him. Alex had wanted her the same and a romance starts and takes off 5 Stars

Great story!
I really enjoyed this book story line was very entertaining and believable the characters were very entertaining. Loved the chemistry between Emma and Alex it was smoking hot 🔥 and intense. The Romance was over the top but I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will love spice.
