About the author

I grew up in Chicago but I've called many places home - India, California, Italy - and each one has left its mark on me.

I find wisdom and insight in old fables and folklore. I appreciate the diversity of rituals and ceremonies in other cultures. I love mixing psychology and dream analysis with imagination. I am a student of many things: sea life, cultures, languages, art, bushcraft, weaving, fish, or anything that brings me closer to life and understanding the people and elements in it.
