This is a great first in the Smirnoff Bratva series. The characters have both grown up in the Bratva/Mafia world, but both have different views of their upbringing.
Nikolay was born to be a Bratva leader, but he was robbed of it when he and his brothers were younger by their Uncle. They all decided to get revenge and avenge their father’s death. They have finally gotten to the place to be able to do it, when the Italian mafia asks NikolaY to form an alliance with them thur marriage.
Kristina was trying to get out of the family because of her uncle. He was holding everything that her father did over her families head.
They meet at a club and hit off instantly and are soon in a serious relationship. They are soon inseparable and it is noted, but NikolaY does not want her to know that her uncle was trying to sell her off to further his own goals.
Their love over comes anything and NikolaY and his brothers take out his uncle and now NikolaY is the head of the Bratva that is his birthright.

Da Da Da Da Da

I don’t think I’ve read a book with some many Da’s. Every other sentence was Da. At least every other page it had at least 4 or more times. Typical Mafia insta-love HEA story.

An amazingly written story with wonderful characters which has everything drama, suspense, thrills, action as well as steamy spicy romance with a happily ever after ending.
A story about three brothers who witnessed their father being killed. Their father was the head of the Bratva and the one who killed him was his half brother who wanted to be the head of the Bratva. The three boys were found by a man who they find out is a half uncle from their mother’s side of the family. The man who found them takes him to his family’s house and raises them, teaching them about being in the Bratva as well as how to become assassins.
The three brothers make plans to get back what was stolen from them so they start going up the ranks and start building their Bratva. They also work as assassins taking contacts over the dark internet. That’s how they make their fortune as assassins.
The oldest brother and the future head of the bratva had a meeting with the Italian don who wants to make an alliance with the brothers, he offers the soon to be leader the chance to marry his niece but the oldest brother doesn’t answer right away but he does go to the club that she’s going to.
The woman is the niece of the Italian don but she didn’t know until recently, the don is her father’s brother. When her father gambled everything they had away they were made to live with the Italian don and know he acts like he owns them. She attends college to become a nurse.
The oldest brother and the woman meet at the club, he doesn’t tell her about her uncle. The two have feelings for one another from the first eye contact. They leave the club to go to his place, while he’s about ready to get into the driver's seat he gets a call but quickly takes care of it. They get to his place and he gives her oral sex after they have sex. When he finds out that she was a virgin he cleans her up. They stay together all night.
The oldest brother takes her on a trip and they stay there overnight. They see each other alot over the next couple of weeks, the only time they don’t see each other is when he has a job to do. They start falling deeper for each other but they start overthinking things. Everything gets straightened when they talk about things.
The three brothers set their plans into motion, they storm their old home and take out their uncle’s men as well as their uncle. The youngest brother was to take out the cousin a couple of weeks before. After their uncle is dead they have their men do the clean up. The oldest brother is now the Bratva leader and the two brother’s are his seconds.
The woman refuses to marry whomever her uncle wants her to marry, the uncle hits her. When she wakes up she’s in her room, when she starts to go downstairs she notices her uncle talking to the man she has been seeing. The two men talk and the man’s brothers are there as well. When she gets to them they have words and the woman and the man go up to her room where they talk, he asks her to marry him and she agrees, he gives her an engagement ring. They kiss telling each other how much they love the other. They have sex.
Weeks later they are getting married and after the reception they go towards the vehicle to leave when it blows up and then there is another explosion, the husband gets hit and blacks out and his wife gets taken. After the husband wakes up him and his brothers find out where she’s at, The three brothers along with some of their men go to get his wife. The three find her bruised and with cuts on her, they get her out of there. The brothers talk and they have a doctor check her out, the doctor fixes her up and informs the husband about her being pregnant.
Ten months later they live in a home with their son. The Bratva leader talks to his seconds and also talks to the Italian don for a moment. After everyone’s gone and the baby is asleep the husband gives his wife oral sex. During sex they talk about having another baby so close to the first one, she wants to wait but he doesn’t want to, by the end he wins out. They tell each other that they love one another.

This is the 1st book in the Smirnoff Bratva series featuring Nikolay and Kristina's steamy arranged marriage,mafia, revenge romance. Nikolay and his brothers witnessed their father who was head of the Bratva being killed by his own half brother who wanted to lead the Bratva. The Gallo Italian Mafia reaches out to them about forming an alliance and he offers up his niece Kristina. Nikolay has no interests in getting married until he sees Kristina then everything changes. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy, arranged marriage, mafia, revenge romance full action, betrayal, danger, drama, passion, secrets, violence as well as twists and turns to keep you turning the pages to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Heat- 🌋🌋. They do the thing a lot, but it doesn’t always gel.
Series? Y
Safety: Y, meaning no s. violence or cheating. No cliffhanger, although not all of the storylines are resolved. HEA.
Triggers- Violence, Explicit Erotic Content, Language in Two Languages, Cosplay Wedding.
Tropes- Instalove, Arranged/Forced Marriage (subverted), Love In an Elevator, He Ain’t Heavy- He’s My Bratva, Do-Si-Do With The Mafioso.
What I liked- the story’s exposition was done really well. And the backstory was complex and interesting. There was an eleventh hour twist that I didn’t see coming.
What I didn’t- I couldn’t give this book five stars because it dragged in spots and some of the dialogue was infantile. The first conversation between Nikolay and the Mafia Don dumped too much irrelevant information, and a real Don wouldn’t have shared so much. Also, the name Ivor is Welsh, not Russian.
Verdict- Macias always writes an entertaining story. 3 1/2 stars.

Nilolay is Book 1 of the Smirnoff Bratva series. It's a steamy, arranged marriage, revenge, girl gets mafia man romance. This is another hot one from this author!! Nikolay and his brothers were to be heirs of the Bratva until their father was brutally killed in front of them by their uncle. They were then raised by an uncle on their mother's side who trained them to be assassins and about their heritage. Now, they are ready to take back control. Kristina is the niece of an Italian Mafia leader who wants to force her to marry Nikolay for an alliance. He isn't interested until he sees her, and then it is instant attraction!!! This is another steamy roller-coaster ride with hot chemistry, love, betrayal, and suspense. I don't want to spoil anything but it's so good! Can't wait to see what happens next in the series.

Nikolay and his bothers had a hard life growing up after their uncle killed their dad. They turned their Bratva training into a career path until it was time to take out their uncle and rise to the head of the Smirnoff Bratva. Nikolay ends up with a business proposition from the Italian Don. Without Kristina's knowledge her uncle makes a marriage proposition for power and informs Nikolay where should would be for his viewing. Upon seeing each other they became instantly smitten. They ended up falling in love and getting married. At the reception, there were multiple explosions and Kristina was kidnapped. She was eventually rescued by Nikolay and his brothers and it is discovered that she is pregnant. Ten months later they have a son and are trying for another baby.

Ten years after being rescued, the brothers are ready to fight back with aid from the Don of the Italian Mafia who offers his niece, Kristina, in exchange for the alliance. This story has family drama, action, romance, and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

When Nikolay lost his Pakan his only thought is revenge. Left with his brats they plot their rise and revenge of those that destroyed his family. He gains an alliance providing he is willing to marry his niece which has him connecting with Kristina. Will he take Kristina on as his wife, and will he gain an alliance that will help him get back what was taken from his family.

Nikolay I found to be another amazingly well written Mafia Romance book. When I read the blurb for this book I just knew that I needed to read the entire book to see if it was just as good as the blurb. To say the least it did NOT disappoint. I throughly enjoyed the book. This is the first book in the Smirnoff Bratva series and it’s Kristina and Nikolay’s story. I adored Nikolay, he was delicious..he knew exactly what he wanted and was determined to get just that. I really enjoyed Kristina and Nikolay’s interactions and the chemistry between these two was intense. Awesome read and I’m looking forward to the next book!

As Nikolay and Kristina meet and spend time together, I kept wondering when she would find out what her uncle was planning and how would she respond. Plot twists ahead. Fast paced, steam, danger and more steam. Our author gives us amazing characters and locations. And Nikolay has two brothers to look forward to their stories being told.

This is a mafia short story that is part of a series. Here is Nikolay’s novelette that includes exciting, dramatic, intriguing events as well as a love story. The chemistry is strong and magnetic between these two. I highly recommend this book.
