Whether you're just starting out or a regular runner, this work provides the information, advice and inspiration needed to become the runner you want to be. And still have a life.
This is a good all around introduction to running for women with some helpful information, but it didn't answer all of my questions or go into much detail about any one subject. I definitely found it interesting to read a British perspective though.
Don't tell anyone but I'm read this and *whispers* I'm not even a woman! It's my wife's book and I read it for tips on gait and injury prevention. It's a bit basic. If you're a new runner you'll enjoy it but if you're looking for something more intensive and detailed, you'll need another book.
A Scottish angel gave me this book just prior to me stress fracturing my foot. A good primer that is geared toward people who run because they love to run, and not because they like to compete.
Dit loopboek trekt er al meer op. Leuk geschreven, luchtig en niet saai. Toch ... het blijft een loopboek en misschien kan ik ook niet verwachten dat een boek over lopen zeer boeiend zal zijn.
