Such a powerful story of survival filled with a little happiness, but such sadness and anger. After losing everything and everyone from l the last stories our hero is given a chance to move on to the next version of the 'game ', but evil still can't leave him be. He has to restart as a level 1 without any magic. As do his soon to be wife and adopted son.
I really enjoyed this story, though I did cry a few times.
This will be my last Legends Online book. Author basically starts over and introduces a lot of wholesome family content that is not interesting to me. I never liked Nari. Mostly, the series does a good job of pandering to my demographic with references and shared culture. so, I made it through 5/8+. The first book was good enough but you can stop there.
I had a hard time with this one, at first. The farther into the story I got though, the new mechanics grew on me! I like where the story is going, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!!
Love the thought of them starting over and rebuilding from level one. The joy in these books is watching the characters grow and seeing them come to their strength. Ready for the next book!
Needed better Proof Reading ... But one hell of a read. The game in a game with the Characters having a basic 'Reset' was an interesring twist. The Family Reunion was a bit disturbing considering all in all ... However nicely played ...
