We live in a world where Christmas is wrapped up in planning and preparing for a few days or even a few hours of yearly traditions and gift giving. The endless list of events and expectations are overwhelming and can move us further from God’s invitation to believe in what Christmas is really about.
In his book Because We All Struggle To Believe, Domenic Ruso takes us through the Christmas story found in the Bible and we are invited to see the story of Jesus birth in a brand new way. While we most often hear the picture-book polished story, this short guide takes us behind-the-scenes into the real messiness of that first Christmas.
This deeper look into the Christmas story reveals the essential truth of the that we are not alone in our struggles. And that we have all struggled to believe.
May this book meet you in the midst of a very busy season and invite you to pause and reflect on what you believe.
