A precarious truce. A world-ending threat. Once the prophecy unfolds, which Gray will reign?
Out of the frying pan and into the fire. If there was ever a saying that LUNA felt described her chaotic life, that would be it. From Nephilim to Gray to full-blooded angel, her world has been turned upside down too many times to count, and yet again, she finds herself in a situation where everything feels beyond her control. She and Caleb might have escaped Alexander and found refuge, but at what cost? And how on Earth is she meant to be the Savior when she can’t even save herself?
CALEB chose his side the moment his grandfather refused to rescue Luna, and now, he will go to war with his bloodline if it means keeping his Goldilocks safe. With the academies on both sides of the divide in danger, and the ever-growing risk of Alexander exposing their kind to the humans, he will need to work with familiar faces and new to put an end to the threat facing them, once and for all.
With the prophecy hanging over their heads like a sword, the Darks and Lights must band together for one final battle. Will they tip the scales of fate in their favor and finally heal their ancient rift, proving love can prevail? Or will their efforts become just a footnote in history as the Destroyer conquers them all?
GRAYREIGN is the final book in the YA paranormal romance trilogy The Origin Prophecy, a loose Romeo + Juliet retelling about a pair of supernatural teens at the center of a prophetic war and the forbidden love they will fight to protect.

AAAAHHHHHHHHH what a satisfying end to the series oh i love this shit so much ** it’s been 5 months and i’m compelled to come back to say just how much this series meant to me and that i loved it start to finish. the characterization, world building, and tension (romantic or otherwise) were all so well handled. i have spent months chasing the high that this series gave me, worried i’d never find anything else that could compare. and so far, not much else has meant nearly as much to me as this.
t's hard to make a second book better than the first. This one had me even more on the edge of my feet ready to see what happens. I really hope in book 3 Luna becomes less of a flower and more of an avenging angel.
I am enjoying the action and inner struggles of the characters. With the prophecy unfolding, I think Luna turning into a badass warrior would put this series in my top 5 favorite nephlum stories. Even though it kinda already is. Lol
If you’re on the fence, trust me this series is very good. You want to read it. You will thank me later.
*I received a copy of this book from the author(s) in exchange for an honest review. This did not change or affect my opinion of this book in any way.*
This series went out with a bang, and this book is probably my favourite in the trilogy. So much happens in GrayReign! We get to meet some new characters. We get answers to lingering questions. We get battles, bloodshed, and some downright badassery.
Caleb and Luna know what they’re fighting for—and they’ll do anything to protect the people they care about. Their romance is honestly so sweet, and their love for one another is swoon-worthy.
The side-characters continue to be salty, sassy, and sarcastic in the best possible ways, and the dynamics and the relationships between whole cast are incredibly intriguing and complex. Lucifer, Beelzebub, Hammurabi, Alaric, and Lilith honestly deserve their own spin-off(s)—I’ll never get enough of them.
The ending was a wild rollercoaster of emotions, but it was so well done! *chefs kiss* I’m sad this series is over, but it was so much fun, and I’ll definitely be re-reading it in the future!
That's how you end a series. I swear, this book was nonstop action but it also managed the heart-melting romance. The blurb claims it's a loose Romeo and Juliet story, and I see it. Two people the world wants to rip apart who will do anything to stay together, even if it means sacrifice. I'm a sucker for tragic love, forbidden love, a we-can't-be-together-but-we-just-don't-care kind of love. These two authors nailed that and brought along all the feels. Not to mention the sass. A lot of people don't like "special snowflake" books where an unsuspecting character learns they're "the one." But I kind of adore them because they create strong-willed, stubborn characters like Luna, with a lot of personality. She doesn't fall to pieces when the stakes are high. Can't recommend enough.
💛🖤What a conclusion to this epic love story! I loved everything about it!!! I was hooked from start to finish. I had many theories and hopes and in the end it worked out - even better then i thought!!
Caleb and Luna were adorable and will always have a special place in my heart. Their love was beautiful and it blossoms throughout their story and keeps getting cuter by the second! #allTheFeels💛🖤
Loved the finale to this series. Enjoyed reading Luna grow into her character and become a strong and beautiful heroine. And I fell in love with Caleb even more with his selflessness. Worth the read.
"I still carry wounds that will take time to heal from, but the thought of that future eases the sting. Because I know, moving forward, I'm no longer alone.
Whatever comes next, we'll face it together."
The final instalment in The Origin Prophecy series - and what a finale! I really enjoyed this. I've loved each of the books in this trilogy and GrayReign did not disappoint.
In this final chapter we find Luna and Caleb in the aftermath of their battle with Alexander, now facing the threat of a war that will change the world as they know it. The prophecy still looms over them as they must unite both sides of the divide in order to stand a chance in this war.
I've enjoyed this series so much and can definitely see me doing a reread at some point!✨
