The Psychokitty Speaks Out: Diary of a Mad Housecat

Rate this book
He's 14 pounds of sleek black and white glory. With an attitude ... and opinions ... on everything. "The PsychoKitty Speaks Out" is the diary of Max, a put-upon and under-appreciated domestic feline with both a disdain and a fondness for Sticky Little People, an addiction to Kitty Crack, and an appetite for Stinky Goodness. He began his popular blog "The Psychokitty Speaks Out" in October of 2003, and this is an expansion of that journal; all those dates when he didn't blog--they're here, in all his snarky glory.

I bought this a couple years ago, with the intention of reading it right away, but was tragically distracted by something shiny. Do not make the same mistake. If you like your cats with a bit of attitude, vote for Max!

This isn't a book really; it's a blog written by a cat. What differentiates it from most other things "written" by cats is that this cat has attitude...lots of it. It's humbling and a dose of reality to hear what one cat is really thinking. You will never look at your cat the same way again.

This book was good for many, many laugh-out-loud moments. It's written by the cat of author K.A. Lawrence. Max has two other books, one of which I'm reading and the other to be read.

This is a collection of blog entries by Max, a cat with an attitude. I found it light and entertaining. Anyone owned by a cat would probably find this easy read enjoyable. Two paws up!
