Very enjoyable, and very informative book, basically life stories of the four singers in the group Il Divo, from their youth days to joining the group Il Divo, by the end of the book you do get a very good understanding about each of the singers, their characters and the stepping stones they took at different points in their lives. Allot of information that many readers will find new. Well written, a good book structure, no editorial issues, a nice book cover, if you are interested in music, this is a nice book to read and a nice group to see in concert (in my opinion).

All I can remember after reading this autobiography about this great band is how hard i’ve tried into putting my hands on this book! Since it came out back in 2007, I’ve trying to get like crazy! going and coming from either Jareer or Virgin and they weren’t even recognized! That’s why they didn’t order this book! in 2008, no wthing the books is not in Kuwait and i was thinking that it never will! In 2009, when we were in Kuala Lumpur with my family. I remember the last couple of days i had extra money which i didnt know what to do with so i went to explore the mall next to out horel “The Pavilion” more and more til i went up and got into “times” bookstore, where I tried searching for the book but with no use the next day i went again and asked one of the people who worked there and he lead me straight to the book and i couldnt believe myself!!! Finally, it’s in my hands and it was the last one I went like c razy to my father in the hotel and told him “Babaaa see I got the book” and he gave this laugh as if i was insane for being over the moon in getting a book about 4 gals! ah men, they wouldn’t understand the important of a great band

Anyways, the book sums the life of those 4 great singers, about their childhood, their teenage period, their career, how they’ve joined IL DIVO, and the great impact of their success! some of the stories are heart-recking specially Sebastien and David! But it makes you believe that no matter what you are and how you’re living, you can make it no matter what if you’re into it!

Perkenalan saya dengan group ini terjadi dengan tak sengaja. Bermula mencari group latin yg sangar digemari mantan saya saat kuliah (iya mantan-gara2 nemu notenya jd ingat), malah jd nemu ini.

Buku ini juga saya temukan di area obralan salah satu toko buku import. Tanpa jaket buku. Semula saya kira isinya foto2 tentang perjalanan tour mereka, ternyata bukan.

Kisah hidup tiap anggota dikisahkan secara detail dalam buku ini. Benang merah mereka adalah semangat untuk bekerja keras dan maju. Masa kecil yang umumnya kurang beruntung membuat mereka menjadi sosok yang tegar.

Saya paling suka kalimat yang berada di bagian Simon Cowell, " Success can breed monsters but not these guy. They have remained polite and charming...."
