[Siren Erotic Sci-fi Romance, Multiple Sex Partners, Ménage à Trois, M/F/M] One compromised planet, a tainted rescue mission, and a beautiful female in peril… Lieutenant Aspen Thorne has no choice. She's in quarantine and the rules are clear. The males locked in with her need sexual relief and they have nowhere else to turn. On Rapt One, the situation is volatile and while she reconciles the new relationship with her colleagues, a diabolical covenant struggles to take over. Luckily, they have the famous engineer Larik Armada in their midst and he systematically uncovers a plot that chills them all. The other male in with her is a virile young pilot, Trey York, and with his military expertise and Armada's insight, maybe they can escape before the situation takes explosive to a whole new level. Or will The Covenant triumph? "Futuristic is intriguing because you get to break the rules. Ménage relationships fit the criteria as well. Put them together with some danger and drama and well, how much fun is that?" ~ Annabel ~ A Siren Erotic Romance
Annabel Wolfe loves the unlimited possibilities of futuristic romance. New worlds, dangers we can only imagine, no rules, and of course, those dynamic heroes and independent heroines. She lives in rural Indiana with her husband, three children, and her cat and constant companion, Mr. Poot.
Good action story, but not a lot of character development. Larik Armada is known from Book 1, so that was helpful. The ending was rather abrupt and we don't know what really happened...
This is the second in the Starlight Chronicles by Ms. Wolfe. This is for those who like a bit of mystery suspense, smart hot military men and Uber males. I found this to be a hot read. I like the scifi aspects and tend to enjoy these storylines more. This is a nice little fantasy to read and then reach for the nearest toy.
This story kept my interest, but there was nothing complex about it. Likable characters and an interesting back story made it enjoyable for me. The overly convenient and completely predictable 'twist' at the end had me rolling my eyes. Still and all it was a fun read.
