I think the story would’ve been 10 times better if it didn’t start with talking about John Wilkes Booth. Think the author could’ve introduced the main characters Rya Garrett and McClain Reardon another way.

What a wonderful book...a must read

This had too much history of John Wilkes Booth in it for me and not enough development between the two main characters. It also was too preachy for me, or I guess the religious aspect felt forced into the story instead of blending with it and feeling part of it.
