This is amazing version of the old fairy tale. It is written in poem, is interactive, there is both a picture dictionary and a key words page, a craft idea that goes with the story that includes hints and directions, discussion questions, and a history of the tale.
This version has its own special spin and teaches about gratitude, rewarding people for hard work, and doing things charitably, without any expectation or reward or gain.
I cannot praise this little book enough. It is a READ WITH ME BOOK---it is great to read to younger children, but an early reader can read it as well with help for longer or more difficult words. The illustrations are cute, and the child will love scanning each page to find the bunny slipper. I'd give it three thumbs up if that were possible.!!
