Jennifer Cole’s Passions is a four Divas story with a lot of heat and fun.
The heroine, Jana Michaels, is escaping her abusive past and embracing her new life with a bold sense of fun. The heroes, Tristan Nolan and Travis Cadence, are seeking their woman, and hiding a secret from the world. The three meet, and sparks fly. But will Travis and Tristan’s secret make Jana flee? And what is really going on in this sex-filled, island resort?
The author handles her writing with a competent, straight-forward style. The sex is steamy and hot, written with flair and without shame. The characters are very fun, and while the two men are not differentiated in great detail, there is enough to let you add your own ideas to them, and to allow them to be your personal fantasy. Jana’s openness and compassion give her character a lot of depth. It’s very easy to identify with her and dream about having two hot, lusty, loving men through the story. The men are total heroes. The only flaw keeping the story from getting five Divas was that the men are utterly perfect. Even a hero should have a flaw or two, something to make them believable, in my estimation.
If you like your erotica with a super-hot threesome, a touch of dominance, and a lot of intrigue, you should definitely check out Passions! Reviewed by Kara Cox

I wanted to read this story because the description sounded interesting. I don't normally read paranormal stories. They don't hold my interest for long. This story proved no different. Although it was a good read, I still found it hard to keep my interest.
Jana Michaels is haunted by her past, she was abused and struggles to trust herself to love again. She escapes to Caribbean to start fresh. She arrives at Passions and immediately dives full heartedly into her job. She cleans rooms quickly which leaves the rest of the day to herself.
Tristan and Travis have been frequent visitors to Passions and are looking for their perfect mate. Once they see Jana they know they must have her. They work slowly to gain her trust, she is hurt but they aren't sure why. They vow to never let her go. She is the one they have been looking for.
Overall, this was a good read just slow. It had a good storyline, I would have liked to know more about Jana's past and what had haunted her so much. We are only given tidbits about her here and there. I also would like to know more about Travis and Tristan's history. This was a good story but I will not be reading anymore paranormal romances, it just doesn't keep my interest.

While the sex was up there with the work of Maya banks. It was very disappointing to read the 'dialect' of the ' natives' of which ever Caribbean island this was supposed to be set in. Why do uneducated people/authors think that Caribbean people speak so primitively is beyond me. And for that reason, no matter how brief the encounter was this book gets one star. Believe me when I type I wish I can give you even less.
That and the aliens aspect is pure bullshit....... Get it together.

Eh, it's hot, but there's just too full of WTFery to overlook or suspend disbelief, even for Erotic Romance Fantasy Land.
