En la arquitectura de Richard Neutra (1892-1970), interior y exterior comulgan en perfecta armonía moderna. En proyectos posteriores, como la Casa Kaufmann del desierto y la Casa Nesbitt, continuó conjugando arte, paisaje y comodidad en las viviendas; para ello, Neutra solía entregar a sus clientes cuestionarios detallados para determinar sus necesidades específicas. Con profusas ilustraciones, esta obra nos acerca al arquitecto y nos presenta los proyectos que definieron su carrera. Con estructuras frías anidadas entre maravillas naturales, se rinde homenaje a uno de los representantes más puristas del Movimiento Moderno, un profesional que supo cómo incorporar las líneas escarpadas y los colores cambiantes de la naturaleza a las geometrías características del Estilo Internacional.

I know nothing of architecture but I love the great houses Mr. Richard Neutra designed, simplicity and beauty personified. Most of his best houses were built in the 1930's and 1940's in Southern California (around the Silver Lake area). Most of them have been demolished, but you have this awesome book to remember them by.

So interesting, loved reading this. The writer gave you a great insight into the mind if Neutral and the different reasons why he designed buildings and how. By incorporating pictures it really engaged me plus I loved how the clients comments and views were incorporated into this :).
