This is not a book, but an old cassette recording that was available on audible. Either way I wanted to review it simply because this is the best starting point I have found on visualization. I’m not talking about the law of attraction vison board stuff thats all over the place now a days, but the process of visualization meditation, even though they go hand in hand. This “audio book” has guided meditation practices for you to use (you have to pause along the way) but I was so happy to find different methods and techniques even though I tend to like some more than the others, but hey don't knock them till you try them The main thing I wanted to learn about was the sports psychology aspect of visualization, and it delivered, so now I can move onto more in depth books and not feel so lost! The narration/ sound effects is also phenomenal! I can see myself listening to this many times through in the future.

Very good visualization guide. I found the following methods useful:

* Walk down a hallway, see the doors. Walk through the first lit up door. Image stream what I see when I open the door. If the solution isn't there go back in the hallway and do it again with another lit up door.

* Hot air balloon: Load all my limiting beliefs into a hot air balloon. Feel the weight being removed from my shoulders. Remove the sandbags and watch the hot air balloon float away into the sun.

* Magical garden

* Child: Think of a kid who is very imaginative and more descriptive than I. Step into the kid's view and describe things in my magical garden as they would describe it.

* Pond (subconscious), throwing stones into the pond (new beliefs)

* 3 beams of light each coming from the forehead, the heart and the solar-plexus to create a holographic image 6-8 feet in front of me

* From my magical garden visualize a Boat by a gentle stream. Take the boat down the Stream until it leads to a trunk. Lift the trunk and there lies my answer.

* Magnetic belief screen down the stream imagine a waterfall, see the rainbow effect as the sunlight reflects, to the side imagine a 7 foot tall entrance 5 feet wide with a golden screen from both sides going top to bottom. There is a sign above the door that reads "Magnetic Belief Screen"

I used to think we should not think of roadblocks because thinking of them brings them into existence. In fact becoming aware of roadblocks / challenges and seeing myself overcoming them is the other half of visualization. Visualizing my success was just the first half.

This guide was published in 1993, since then books on NLP and how to use the "time line" and how I visualize myself better explain a way to change.
