John Parris's first book on arbitration was widely acclaimed by the construction industry and the technical and legal press. Since that book was written a decade ago, there have been major changes in the law both by the Arbitration Acts 1975 and 1979 and by a multitude of decisions by the courts. Ten further years of reseach have led John Parris to write a completely new book on the subject which is focussed on the conduct of arbitrations. Arbitration agreements in construction contracts receive special attention, but the book will be of equal value to shipping, commodity and other arbitrators and to the legal profession.
