I find these anthologies to be a good way to read about a sampling of varied 'occult' topics. This was probably the weakest one of the four I've read in terms of articles that I wanted to follow up with more reading on, but I enjoyed keeping it around for a few months to pick up whenever that mood struck me. I will continue on with the series.
This one contains: "Body Snatchers: Before and Beyond" - Nick Redfern "A Sarcophagus Beneath the Spanish Sea" - Robert Bauval "Death Before Life After Life" - Greg Taylor "Phillybusted..." - The Emperor "Neverland in the Netherlands" - Neil Arnold "Watson... The Needle!" - Mike Jay "The Magus of Delaware" - Greg Bishop "A Stargate for the Soul" - Philip Coppens "Archaeology from Beyond the Grave" - Michael E. Tymn "Above Kook Status" - Blair MacKenzie Blake "The Mountain of God" - Robert Schoch "Shaking Stars" - Geoff Falla "The Occult Roots of Nazi Technology" - Theo Paijmans "Sex, Drugs and UFOs" - Adam Gorightly
Lots of new stuff (for me, anyway). And since there's a whole series, there's going to be some interesting speculation for a while.
This is an anthology, 14 essays about various topics.
The articles that caught my attention were an alternate explanation for Roswell (it was a top-secret continuation of the Japanese medical experiments about whether people can survive at high altitudes) and debunking the Philadelphia Experiment.
