on the one hand, it was fun to read some of these stories. working in a library myself, i know that sometimes things happen that no one would ever believe (those make for the best stories). on the other hand, scott's tone was pretty annoying at times...seriously, putting down your patrons? that's not cool. nobody likes a jerk. i could almost hear the smarm in his voice when i read certain passages. the one redeeming factor that saved it from a 1-star status is that there were enough of the amusing stories to counter-balance the "that guy was so stupid" stuff.
