The story of this book was actually pretty nice and entertaining. It's mainly about voodoo and mind control and that kinda stuff. The writing did bug me every once in a while though. A lot of it was kind of repetitive, which becomes quite noticeable when it's such a short book. Given the fact that it's such a short book, it also felt a bit rushed. So many significant people of the story died in the blink of an eye which felt kind of weird at times, but maybe that's just my opinion.
I feel like I would've liked it more if the book was a bit longer and elaborate, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!
