Very emotional true story of a women who took care of children with no one to care for them in the aftermath of the Holocaust in Poland. After much hardship, antisemitism, and false starts, she successfully moved the entire group (100 children) to live in Israel. The severe emotional and physical trauma of the children are slowly healed through proper nutrition, love, and education. An intense, but worthwhile read.
