She lies to him repeatedly, she insults him repeatedly. She walked out on him years before. She hides their baby from him.
Her reason for hating him is that he shouldn’t have believed the things his father had said about her, but she never denied it. She is so silly.
It’s quite unbelievable that when the truth came out, he wasn’t angry at all about her lies and he asked her to forgive him.
Shouldn’t it have been the other way around that she should have asked him to forgive her. 🙄

Ну такоє. Вона працювала на заводі у його татка, вони закохались, але злий татко сказав, що викине все її сімейство з роботи, і вона втекла, залишивши його страждати і злитись. Минуло кілька років, злий герой наймає героїню, яка стала дизайнеркою, навести лад на його заморській віллі, ну й розібратися що трапилось. В хід ідуть ревнощі, діти і інша жінка, яка насправді янгольське створіння (слава богу, що не буквально).
Наче й могло бути непогано, але якось без натхнення. Хоч би пару симпатичних пейзажів упхали поміж з'ясуванням стосунків, та й героїв опукліше прописати теж не завадило б.

I want to go back to before I read this one! This one is a prime example of where they just need to TALK to one another. When they do talk they such terrible things to one another there was nothing romantic about it.

2.5 stars 🌟⭐️. This was boring! I should have DNF’d it, but wanted to see if it redeemed itself. It didn’t. It reminded me of a “snowbound” book, which I don’t like because the whole book takes place in one place within a few days. The plot centers mostly around hashing and rehashing the same things if it is a second chance book. I will not read anymore of this author’s other books.
