This book reads like a 1950's comedy western. I'm not sure what audience it was truly written for, appears to be a children's book, but it has some bawdy humor that isn't really appropriate for young ones. Also, there are so many satirical situations that children would not understand. It was somewhat humorous, definitely silly and quite strange.
