Another cracking collection [this time 10 stories] from Commando Comics. These all feature D-Day in some context, whether part of all of the story.

This was a decent Commando book. They picked mostly stories from the first 1000 issues which seem fresher to me and were the ones I read as a kid in the 70s. Unlike Bandits at 12 O'clock which told stories about a myriad of aircraft types, I noticed the bulk of the plots in this book were "ex-boxer Brit punches out Jerry across Normandy" or "Commandos-they were awesome" so I wonder why the limited the focus with 1000s of stories to choose from. 2 had nearly the same plot and the one featuring American paratroopers was lame-this is a British comic. That being said I did really enjoy 3 of the stories. Ambush at Dawn, Wrong Time Wrong Place and Big Guy a lot. Commando Rules.
