I absolutly loved this book it was amazing! My favorite part was when Hareta had to battle his old friend, Mitsumi, who now has became Team Galactic's new leader! I would recommend this book to people who love graphic novels and adventure! The best part is when Piplup evolves in to Empoleon! Read this book today!

Man, this is genuinely a great story in the Pokemon universe. I don't have the nostalgia for Diamond/Pearl that I do for Red/Blue/Yellow so I'm genuinely impressed this is keeping my interest as much as it is.

My 9 year old daughter is absolutely blasting through this series too. I can't keep up.

Giving this a more detailed review because this volume could serve as a pretty satisfying ending of someone wanted it to.

Cyrus has done it: the red chain has been formed, and despite the best attempts of Hareta and his friends, Mt. Coronet becomes a battlefield when the legendary Dialga is summoned - and faces off against Palkia! Ihara delivers the most thrilling entry to the series yet with this grandiose journey sure to excite fans! Who will win - space or time?

Good book, but two translation errors. The first is that is one scene, Mitsumi is referred to as "Matsumi" and, a Team Galactic member is called a member of Team Rocket, also only for one scene. I know this probably won't bother anyone else, but it bothers me ^^;

This series, which obviously is based on the same plot outline as Pokemon Adventures Diamond and Pearl/Platinum is more entertaining. The characters are better and the details work better. Time to reward it with more stars.

Summary: This is a graphic novel about a Pokemon adventure. This is an odd format to have students read or experience text in, as the pages are ordered in reverse (the first page is at the traditional back of the book). Further, the sequencing of the action (pictures) throughout the book flows from the right side of the right page to the left side of the left page, which is also reverse from traditional forms of text.

How I could use in instruction: This book could get a strugglgin readeer excited to read. Due to its lack of words and focus on pictures, a student who is struggling may be more likely to enjoy reading if they can find something that is interesting to them and that they can actually read/understand. Further, this book could also show students the differences between normal text and this one.

How I could include writing: Students could use this as a model to create their own short graphic novel, utilizing the same style and structure used in the Pokemon book. Further, students could do a compare and contrast between how this style of text is versus others they have been exposed to.
