Carter Mason's life is turned upside down when her father, Major Mason of the Princess Protection Program--a fictitious organization that rescues princesses--brings Princess Rosalinda to their Louisiana home. Rosalinda's country has been taken over by a dictator, and the only way to save her country and her mother is for Rosalinda to adopt the cover of regular American teen Rosie Gonzalez. Carter is in charge of helping Rosie fit in, but getting Rosie to change her ways is more challenging than either one of them expected. And when both girls are nominated for Homecoming Queen, they're in for a royal disaster!
As a film, Princess Protection Program is an enjoyable and ultimately forgettable movie that exists only as a vehicle to exploit the friendship of two Disney starlets. As a movie novel, Princess Protection Program is a slightly less interesting version of that film. Not much more to say. Not recommended!
So i bought this one-evening-to-read book, and i don't remember the exact reason... o, yes, here it is: i like children books!! hope this one is a good one!:P
Picture yourself in this image. You are a girl and you live with your dad whos job is to protect princesses from harm. One day you come home to find a princess in your room.Your dad explains every thing. She starts living with you and you need to teach her how to be normal. What would you do? If you want to know what Carmen does you should read the book.
I read this book in about half an hour right after I watched the movie. It left out a lot of parts, but it's still pretty good because this one actually represents the movie and doesn't just make a lame copy of it.
At some point, I really loved the film, like a lot. Me now would find it cringey if I tried to rewatch it. The same can be said for this book; I loved it at some point, I don’t love it now but it’s still okay. Still wouldn’t reread, though.
I really liked this book it was a mix of a Princess and another girl with a normal teenage life coming together and becoming friends. Truly magnificent.
