Volume One is dedicated to the Idlewild album The Remote Part. Across 80 pages this bespoke, unique journal delves deep into legacy of The Remote Part, featuring Roddy’s diaries and photographs from the album writing and recording in 2001, and new interviews by Tom with both Rod and Colin. The journal also features personal essays by both Roddy and Tom about the album, and the band’s journey to the Highlands to play the album in full at Ullapool Village Hall in 2022.

As a fan of Idlewild and Roddy Woomble's own work I loved the writing in this journal, the creativeness of it and the pictures it conjured up. Looking forward to reading the next one.
