This is a really well put together instructional book to teach teens (or adults) how to study the bible and meditate on it. It teaches and then provides examples and then give practice pages. Even if you already study, this book could help you take it deeper.

Great, practical manual for teens on how to study the bible.
- Tools: study bible, concordance (to find the word you're studying in the original language), bible dictionary (to look up meaning of original word), one-volume commentary (see pp. 37-38 for suggested titles)
- Generally look for: key words, promises, commands
- Types of studies: book, chapter, verse, word, character, topical
- Approaches:
- devotional (read through bible daily)
- meditation (chewing/dwelling on it; enjoying every bite of the "soul food" the bible provides; hiding God's word in your heart; how: memorize and study regularly over a period of time (e.g., a month) a particular verse or passage)
- application (what am I to believe? what am I to be? what am I to do?)
