The way she made his feel alive again.
After seven years together, Greyson’s mental illness consumes him entirely. He writes twelve final messages of words he wishes he could’ve said to his love, Astraea Russo.
Unread Messages is a deeply emotional story that explores the beauty and heartbreak of loving someone who’s battling their own mind. Astraea and Greyson’s bond felt real, vulnerable, and full of soul. I loved the way their creative worlds connected and how music became both a refuge and a form of expression.
The final messages left by Greyson were absolutely heartbreaking—but also powerful, honest, and filled with love. This story wrecked me emotionally, and stayed with me long after I finished it.
Huge thanks to Jules LaChance and her PA for the ARC. I’m truly grateful I got to read this one.
