I’m told I have to work with her to get her vote. No problem, it's what I do.
That is until she walks into my office, and I'm met with the same bombshell I’ve noticed around the Capitol. She’s the only one who’s made a certain body part of mine twitch with excitement in almost a year.
This entire time, I thought she was an intern.
In an effort to persuade one another, we go to each other's hometowns. When she brings me to her family's farm, I see what her life was like growing up in a small town.
I don't know if it was something in the water, her jean shorts that showed off her killer legs, or maybe getting to know each other beyond the stereotypes we tend to give someone we don't agree with, but something shifts.
One powerful kiss against her parent's farmhouse has changed everything.
Now we're back at the Capitol, and I'm not sure I want to persuade her for her vote...or her heart!
Author of spicy romance novels! Lover of dogs, wine, and coffee. Loves to write books that pull at your heartstrings but never leave out the dirty parts!
This book was so good! If you like enemies to lovers you’ll eat this up!!! It was such an easy read for me and I finished it in a couple days. Grayson and Taylor are chef’s kiss 🥰
Of all the Brady Series Books, Persuade may be my absolute favorite so far! I wasn’t sure at first being that it was a political romance, but wow I was pleasantly surprised by how well Nicole wrote this. It had a bit of a slow start, but once you really dove into the characters and who they are and what they stand for it was so so good!!
Grayson Brady is a congressman working on a Farming Bill. When something happens and a vote is changed that they needed, Grayson is informed he must find a way to quickly get Taylor on his side and get her to vote yes.
Taylor is a small town farm girl from Tennessee who is with the opposing party. When Grayson asks for her opinion on his farming bill, they quickly find themselves disagreeing on what is important which leads them to take a trip together to each others home towns to show each other what they stand for.
Even though the Bill and working together on it was the center of the story, it didn’t feel like it was the only element of the story. There were layers and there was the opportunity to really learn more about the characters.
The back and forth banter, chemistry, and slow burning sexual tension was so good in this book! As they got to know each other, the respect and relationship built so beautifully! Them falling in love was inevitable but oh so good! Also the spice, oh my, it was so good in this book! I loved that they were both strong dominant people that allowed chances for each other to be in control, but at the same time Grayson was for real the Alpha😍
Got this book as an arc and I couldn’t put it down!
This whole book, wow! Even though all of Nicole’s Brady brothers are my favorites, something about Grayson Brady just does something to me. Taylor is definitely an independent person but she doesn’t have a chance when she takes Grayson back to her hometown and get him to work on the family farm. And boy can that man talk dirty!
Grayson needs one more vote from the opposing parties to get the bill through. He is being forced to persuade Taylor. However, who ends up persuading whom in the end?
Now I am not a political romance type of reader. But this one, yes I liked a lot. The political aspect did not overtake the story, nor did it make you want to choose sides. That is why I liked it. This book was an easy read. The built up towards them falling for each other was sweet and intense.
Taylor and Grayson have different backgrounds. She is a farmer's daughter and he is a city boy. Represent opposing parties and want to have bigger funding for different points in the bill. Yet even with all those differences, these two have chemistry.
Did I mention he falls first... 😏 These Brady brothers are hot!
Cannot wait for Logan's book!
This is my honest review. 🖤
➛ Dual 1st person POV - Taylor and Grayson ➛ Spicy - Low Angst ➛ HEA ➛ Standalone in series: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, this is book 4.
Oh my! Taylor and Grayson's connection was definitely passionate, powerful and explosive! If you want some spice, this is the book for you! They start off as opposing parties in a mutual bill, regarding children's meals and farmers rights, both are passionate about their opinions, just a shame they are against each others cause to a point.
Seeing each side from the others perspective really changes things and tensions start to show, desires cause friction and emotions are high! Both stubborn in their own way, should they let their feelings that emerge for each other come to the surface? Bearing in mind their jobs are at the forefront and why they have been pushed together in the first place.
I have loved everyone of these Brady Boys and I was not sure what to expect with Grayson. I was defiantly nervous with his story as he is in politics and I am not a fan of politics, get way to messy. Nicole did such an amazing job with this one. Grayson and Taylor may be from opposing parties but that does not stop them. The sexual tension just continues to build as they try to get their points across to each other with out crossing the party lines. This was a hard one to put down. Wanting to know what was going to happen next and just needing more of their story. Defiantly in love with these Brady Boys🥵
I think this was a great enemies to lovers romance book. The the thing that let it down the most was the editing. There were a lot of errors and even a repeat of a chapter. Overlooking the editing and errors, I really enjoyed it.
Grayson and Taylor are politicians of opposing parties. Grayson has been put in a situation where he needs to get Taylor’s vote on a bill. Under the guise of working together on the bill, Grayson thinks this is the best way to swing her vote to his side. Little does he know that his attraction to her will cause some cracks in his plan and put him in hot water.
Overall another good storyline with a sweet ending.
I usually am meh when it comes to political characters. We hear enough about politics every day, why would I want to read about it too? This book hit close to home regarding bills that are real in the area I live and the farmers I love! With that being said- 3/5 stars for the plot and execution of this book. The characters were spot on with the cut throat of politicians and the scheming that goes on behind closed doors and between party lines. 4/5 stars for the characters- I love when all the books mix together in a series and you can see characters develop between the books. This book brought in Logan and I can not wait for his book! Grayson was hit and miss with the books before his so he was somewhat of a mystery going into his book, which I really liked. Overall, my first 4 star of the series!
I loved this book. Taylor is absolutely amazing. She doesn’t back down and fights for what she wants. I loved Grayson too. The dynamics and tension between the two of them just jumped off the pages!!!
All three books I have read in this series have been poorly written, but this one was so badly written I had to give up. Time to move on to something else.
I don’t know much about how lawmakers work. They live in a different orbit than us mere mortals. It is nice to see them share their lives with each other and how their families support them.
When I first read the blurb and and realized this was gonna be a political romance, I definitely thought “nah, this one’s not gonna be for me” but boy was I wrong!! I ate this shit up. I initially started it because Nicole has not let me down in the past but I kept reading it because I simply couldn’t put it down. I think I binge read it in under 4 hours?! Taylor and Grayson are in opposite political parties but need to work together on a new bill. Grayson tries to win her vote but ends up getting way more than he bargained for. Along the way he breaks her trust and it’s going to take a lot more than persuasion to win it back. Can he manage it?
Taylor was super strong, independent and I loved. There’s just something about Grayson too that I liked. He was both hard and soft and he really was down bad for our girl! The chemistry between Taylor and Grayson was so palpable and their journey from enemies to lovers was just so seamless. Despite their different political alignment, they really blended well together. They are both guarded at first but end up being super compassionate and empathetic. Both main characters were super likable, and I couldn’t help but root for them. Oh also there was spice 😉
I read this in one go. It was a gorgeous 'The American President' type romance with two opposing politicians battling out their differences over a farming bill. This has a whole enemies to lovers, small town versus city vibe going on and I loved how Nicole put both sides of the story across with a gorgeous compromise rather than either character wholly conceding to the other.
Grayson has devoted so much of himself to writing the Bill and benefiting his areas of interest that he jumps at the chance to try and persuade the newer, younger politician Taylor to his side. However, he wasn't anticipating her passion, knowledge and conviction. She is determined and proactive in her support of her cause. And what ensues is a romance of fierce opponents learning to see from one anothers perspective.
The story develops as a bit of tease with the pair denying the attraction. But that'll only take you so far. Its very apparent these two have chemistry spilling from the pages. It is just how they negotiate a happy ending for them both that becomes the key motivator.
A gorgeous love story of political opponents learning to compromise.
Grayson needs one more vote from the opposing parties to get the bill through. He is being forced to persuade Taylor. However, who ends up persuading whom in the end?

Come take a journey with two natural enemies congresswoman Taylor Adams and her opponent Grayson Brady. These politicians are brought together under assumptions, lies and persuasion. With Grayson's goal to appease a colleague of his, he looks to get Taylor to vote to get bi-partisan support on the Bill he is leading for his party. To say that these two butt heads is not enough these two play with FIRE! Taylor and Grayson are not only two stubbornly passionate politicians but are a little guarded, which makes their journey together even more appealing.
Nicole does a great job at bringing romance to politics and creating two characters that feel so real, and that I absolutely fell in love with! The character build, development and relationships shown throughout the book just makes you want to keep reading. Well and the dirty, possessiveness too 😍!
Take the opportunity to see what it is like to experience enemies to lovers in a way I never thought I would love but I ABSOLUTELY DO!
When Grayson has to work with the "other side" to get his bill passed, Taylor is the person he needs to sway. She's stubborn, head strong and firm in her beliefs. He knows it's going to be a hard job.
Taylor is on the side of the farmers and the bill that would help families like hers. While Grayson is in favor of not taking money from other important causes to better benefit the farm owners.
When they take the time to see each others sides on their own home turf the sparks fly!
I loved how Grayson and Taylor share the love for the same things. Their love for the Capital and their friends and family. They both have such passion for their job and making the world a better place.
I really enjoyed this book. The slow burn and the passion are fantastic. The sexual tension... ohhhh THE SEXUAL TENSION!?!? 🥵
I don't normally read political romance. I always end up hating one of the characters and then whole book is ruined. However, I really enjoyed this book.
It does start off a little slow and to be honest, boring (I'm not into politics) But as soon as they're out of the office and we get to see their real personalities, the story really takes off.
Out of all the Brady brothers, (besides Logan as we don't know his story yet) Grayson is by far the hottest in the bedroom. Very alpha, very sexy. But he has a secret sweet side that only the people he loves is privileged to see.
This book is equal parts sweet and spicy, with a strong willed female MC and a soft hearted male MC that only has eyes for her.
Grayson and Taylor are on opposing sides of the political aisle but Grayson needs Taylor’s vote on a farming bill he is working on.
Taylor is from a small farm community and isn’t willing to just sign off on Grayson’s bill without getting the benefits the farmers need to keep their families safe during the hard times.
A trip to both their hometowns to see what both are proposing opens their eyes to the others point of view but will they make the needed changes to the bill to get both votes?!
While this is a political backdrop it wasn’t the main focus and the small farm that Taylor’s family ran added a lot of charm. A bit if enemies to lovers and a side of steam!
I received an arc for review all opinions are my own and given freely

First off enemies to lovers is 🤌🏼 Chefs kiss. I love all of the tension, the banter and fighting feelings. Grayson is big city and Taylor is small town girl…but don’t let that fool you, cuz she’ll put up a fight that’s for sure. I love that she wasn’t intimated and stood up for what she believed in, teaching the city man a thing or two along the way. However they both learned from each other, allowing each other in with that slow burn sexual tension. I loved the way it was written…fighting each other but ultimately learning and growing together. And that just built up the spice and sexual tension to a crazy level. Loved this book!
❤️Political Romance 🖤Enemies to Lovers ❤️Slow Burn 🖤Amazing Medium Spice
This was my first read of Nicole, and I was really worried when I realized it was a political romance. But I dived in, and I'm glad I did.
Grayson and Taylor start off on opposing sides on a Farming Bill they are working on. With Taylor being on the side of the farmers billing a farm girl herself.
The bantering between these 2 is amazing, and the way complete opposites somehow become the perfect fit is due to Nicole's great writing!
I really loved this book - the characters are strong and determined, and they have great chemistry! The book has enemies to lovers (my favorite), small town life vs city vibes, close proximity, and some spice - which was really well written. This was a quick read, and I enjoyed the slow burn. Once they started working together, things started getting really good and I couldn’t put it down!
I really liked the idea behind this book. Opposing political parties having to work together. What could possibly go wrong?
I really liked Grayson and Taylor and their growth throughout. While this is a political story I think it was done well to keep both sides somewhat generic as far as views so todays political drama was left out.
I really loved that they each took this bill so seriously and took the time to really look into the others viewpoints.
Persuade tells the story of when two Congressional representatives from different sides of the aisle, different backgrounds, and with different objectives, are forced to work together. It doesn’t take long for tensions to rise and sparks to fly.
Another edition in the Brady series, @nicolebaker_author crafts another fast paced romance that is hard to put down.
