An excellent beginner's guild to yoga/meditation, or as the author put it "Four simple steps to peace and contentment - without spending the rest of your life on a mountaintop." Enjoy!

So this book is 3.5 stars & I rounded up to 4 stars for two reasons. First, I read part of the book & within the first couple of chapters I learned a lot. I came away from this book knowing so of the scientific reasons behind meditation. It seems this book is more about the practical side of meditation & the affects on the brain/ body rather than just the spiritual jargon you usually get. The second reason that I decided to give 4 instead of 3 stars is because I intend to read this book again when I have more time. I enjoyed the different perspective given in this book.

Excellent book on "chilling out", calming down - a very secular, Western approach to meditation.
