So sad to be done with this collection of Cycle World columns and features. I limited myself to one per day to stretch the enjoyment as long as possible. They are the perfect combination of informative and entertaining. Recommend to anyone who rides or is remotely interested in motorcycling.

Eagan is one of the best motorcycling/auto writers of my generation. And for those of you who do not have any passion for cars or bikes, his writing and insights on life go deeper than the vehicles.
As I neared the end of this book I slowed down. Savoring the final pages.
That for me is the sign that I am deeply appreciative of the writing and the reading experience.
If you ride and read Eagan, then your first reaction to his words is to head to the garage and grab your helmet.

Another amazing zen like read.....I was never a long distance motorcyclist however many of his stories have me itching to try...Unfortunately I have a mate who hates motorcycles....Until such time I get the nerve to do what I want without fear of repercussions, onto Egans 3rd book in this series....Its kinda like riding a 1000 mile day....
