wasn't sure I would enjoy this at the start but the more the story went on, I really enjoyed it. when they was driving to the festival all I was thinking of was sat nav but then remembered this is from the 90's. as soon as Gavin came a long I didn't like him he was just using mary-kate to get close to there dad. can't wait to read more.
I just want to say that on the cover of the copy I read, Mary-Kate's hand was not edited properly, so her hand looks really cursed, and that will stay in my head probably longer than the actual content of this book. But the book was still fun.
The book i did this month is " The Perfect Summer, by Kieran Scott" . This book is about two sisters who get a summer job. The book takes place during the summer. It also is at a music campus. My overall impression was, it was a very good good. I enjoyed reading it. I wanted to keep reading more.
I would recommend this book to anyone who like interestion " girly " books. I really liked where this book took place, because it was in the present tense and not past. This books about two sister who get a summer job. The book didn't say what there dad did, but it did say he worked in the music industry. The girls were so excited to be able to see all the performers that were going to be at campus. Glowsticks was there favorite band of the summer. It was a super good book. Pick it up, you may like it.
I was a huge fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and was on an endeavour to collect all their movies and books.
The SWEET 16 series provided (fictional) stories of the twins teenage lifestyle. I actually preferred this series better than the TWO OF A KIND series or even the later, SO LITTLE TIME series.
A relaxing and happy read. Takes you through the backstage drama of a rock concert perfectly well. A different kind of summer project than what the girls usually do. A more cohesive and matured writing style. Keeps the reader hooked without getting even the slightest bit of boredom 'til the end. Good for a refreshing sunday read.
