Radclyffe has written over forty-five romance and romantic intrigue novels, dozens of short stories, and, writing as L.L. Raand, has authored a paranormal romance series, The Midnight Hunters. She has also edited Best Lesbian Romance 2009 through 2015 as well as multiple other anthologies. She is an eight-time Lambda Literary Award finalist in romance, mystery, and erotica—winning in both romance and erotica. A member of the Saints and Sinners Literary Hall of Fame, she is also an RWA Prism, Lories, Beanpot, Aspen Gold, and Laurel Wreath winner in multiple mainstream romance categories. In 2014, she received the Dr. James Duggins Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist award from the Lambda Literary Foundation. In 2004, she founded Bold Strokes Books, an independent LGBTQ publishing company, and in 2013, she founded the Flax Mill Creek Writers Retreat offering writing workshops to authors in all stages of their careers.

She states, “I began reading lesbian fiction at the age of twelve when I found a copy of Ann Bannon’s Beebo Brinker. That book and others like it convinced me that I was not alone, that there were other women who felt like I did. Our literature provides support and validation and very often, a lifeline, for members of our community throughout the world. I am proud and honored to be able to publish the many fine authors at Bold Strokes Books and to contribute in some small way to the words that celebrate the LGBTQ experience.”

Radclyffe lives with her partner, Lee, in New York state.

꒰ㅤʚĭɞㅤ۪ㅤ۫ ੭ this book is the erotica book to beat. ㅤ۪ㅤ♡

the writing was good, pacing wasn’t too bad though i will admit i liked some stories more than others. the tension in some of these >> the complete queerness. the only critique i’d have is the lack of racial diversity but such is to be expected atp

Liked most of them a lot. Only a few I didn't care for, which is always a good ratio for a compilation. A wide variety of encounters and degrees of radical.

First, I am supremely impressed that one author wrote all these short stories. These were f***ing wonderful! Such a diverse collection makes this a top of line imaginative masterpiece! I totally enjoyed more than 90 percent of the entries and there are twenty-seven stories. I think that makes this collection a winner!

There are some amazing sexcapades and by and large I would give this collection an overall ‘scorching hot’ notation, if RBR posted such designations. Covering such a diverse set of circumstances, a variety of possibilities, some BDSM tossed in, and some magnificently paranormal/psychic experiences additionally enhanced this collection as a whole.

For readers who might like to sample such a wide variety of experimentation, para-psychic orgasmic comes, sweet coincidental coupling, and more, this book is certainly the place to start! Here are some detailed thoughts on my personal selection of jewels within this treasure of an anthology.

Snow Dance
Fin Brewster is about to handle the first big snowstorm of the season. There are fourteen inches already and it's still snowing. She has a remarkably precision routine as to how she shovels. However, she is only halfway down her driveway and upon looking back, she sees some of her efforts have been snowed over.

Jules Howard, a new neighbor, offers to help since her driveway is shorter and she already finished it. They complete the first run of shoveling and Fin offers hot food or drink to Jules.

Then something wonderful happens between leaving the driveway and getting to the kitchen. Magical, priceless, HOT!

Secrets of the Heart
A gay gal, Davida, and a straight gal, Sheri, have been roommates for 10 months. Davida has fallen hopelessly in love with Sheri. Uh-oh, major conundrum!

Sheri invites her roommate to eat dinner in on Valentine’s Day. Davida buys the wine for the occasion. It is a wonderful and cozy meal. Earth to Davida ???

Thank goodness the light bulb goes on over Davida’s head so that the deliciously hot sex can get under way. Marvelous!

Clinical Trial
Robbie is the typically struggling graduate student. She is about to see if she qualifies as a volunteer as subject for a psychosexual imprinting analysis. So she goes to an interview and she is accepted for the study by Dr. Adams.

This is so hysterically funny, hot, and full of innuendos. I especially loved when the doctor would ask Robbie where she stood in relation to climaxing. Four…Six…NINE!

The story right up till the ending was brilliant and fabulous…the ending is a bit hard to describe and/or correlate with all that came before. Let me just say the end is a dream come true with another orgasmic twist.

By the Light of the Moon
An Ouiji board on All Hallow’s Eve conjures a super passionate lover for the owner of the house. Her words made sense, but only the owner sees her, is sexually active with her and now only wants her. She is called back into existence the next day for more very heated lovemaking.

This was fabulously hot, while being incredibly parapsychic and mystical! *Loved it*

The Lesson Planner
Four students sharing a house. One straight gal who dances at a club to supplement her stipend. One gay guy who supplements his stipend by being an ‘escort’. One dyke gal who gets manipulated into helping straight gal to show gay guy how to "jerk off" his female client while she watches porn, just because the service he works for was short on gay gals this evening. Very amusing. Dyke gal does get to ‘come’, plus gets to show straight gal what it feels like to have a woman go down on her…in case gay guy needs a lesson on that. FUN!

Damn, girl.

So I was mostly curious because I had seen a few books by Radclyffe come through our store so I was intrigued enough to pick one up. I'm still new to the realm of erotica and figured trying something different couldn't hurt.

I've never been a fan of lesbian porn, so I was worried that maybe this wouldn't float my boat. I think that if lesbian porn was more like this book, I would watch lesbian porn exclusively.

These stories were all sexy as hell. Maybe a few were a bit generic but that's to be expected when the story is an "erotic" story that is only a few ages. Not a lot of room to be truly innovative. That said they are all well written and definitely blood-pumping hot,
