I find it very delightful, even though much of it is a complete mystery to me. The author comes from a background in The Golden Dawn and goes into detail (though still abridged from the original) about alchemical and plant communication rituals from her order without explaining much context. Yet it is a very small book to keep on the shelf and invaluable for the correspondence tables. For each plant she gives two elemental ruler and a few planetary and zodiacal rulers, and then elemental and astrological descriptors for "the field in which the herbs operate." I have read it twice, and each time I understand more

A thorough and comprehensive guide to the where, when and how of harvesting and using herbs in magic. This book is incredibly detailed and is not really beginner friendly however it is a very informative guide providing the basis for when and how to collect herbal ingredients, how to store them and the best time to use them. This book will help you get in touch with the natural cycles of life and therefore improve you abilities in utilising the power of the natural world
